The launch ceremony of the 2022 National Consumption Promotion Month will be held in Beijing on the evening of March 1. 

Wang Wentao, minister of Commerce, said that in the coming month, various activities will be organized to promote consumption by integrating business, tourism, culture and sports, and combining online and offline. For example, consumer goods fairs, car carnivals and home furnishing consumption seasons will be held to stabilize consumption of key commodities.  With the help of the "snow and ice fever" brought by the Beijing Winter Olympics, various forms of snow and ice themed consumption promotion activities will be organized.  This year, on the premise of epidemic prevention and control, we will continue to organize and carry out a series of consumption promotion activities on the basis of good experience and practices in the past.
